Latest volume of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Annual publishes

August 31, 2022 - AATS is pleased to announce the publication of the latest volume of Pediatric Annual. This small but mighty issue explores developments in pediatric cardiac surgery, including new procedural and technological advances. This volume contains submissions from prominent surgeons who presented their findings at the 2021 AATS Annual Meeting.

Editor-in-Chief Dr. Christopher Caldarone states, “This year's Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Annual is a perfect complement to the AATS Annual Meeting with in-depth exploration of issues at the forefront of congenital heart surgery.”

A few of the articles include: “Considerations for Biventricular Conversion of Fontan Circulation” by Kumar and Detterich of USC, “Comparing Long-Term Sequelae of the Systemic Right Ventricle: An Overview of Single Versus Biventricular Arrangements” by Fuller at CHOP, and “Transcatheter Approaches to Palliation for Tetralogy of Fallot” by Qureshi and colleagues from Texas Children’s and Case Western Reserve.
