Program Overview
Funded and administered through the AATS Foundation, this award recognizes distinction in scientific presentations at the annual meetings of affiliate organizations around the world.
The AATS Foundation Academic Excellence Award will be distributed onsite, formally acknowledging academic/scientific excellence for either an abstract or poster presentation. An award of $2,500 will be provided to a single recipient as determined by the review committee for the EACTS and ESTS meetings, and an award of $1,000 will be provided to the recipient at the ASCVTS meeting.View

Application Process
Review Process
An Award Review Committee will be created for each affiliate meeting and consist of up to four total members. Each group will be co-chaired by a member of the AATS or AATS Foundation leadership as well as one international AATS member with ties to the affiliate organization’s leadership. A local member of the Review Committee and representative of the AATS or Foundation leadership will make a formal presentation to the recipient during an awards presentation at the organization’s annual meeting.
All applicants will be notified with an official letter from the AATS Foundation within 2-3 months of the program deadline. Should you have any questions regarding your status prior to receiving this notification, please contact admin@aatsfoundation.org.
