Tours require a minimum number of participants. All tours depart from the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
AATS Special Reception at the National Constitution Center

Join us at the National Constitution Center in historic Philadelphia - America’s most interactive history museum. Located in a stunning contemporary building just two blocks from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, it is the only museum devoted to the U.S. Constitution and the story of “We, the People.”

Opened in 2003, it has been dedicated to increasing public understanding of the Constitution, its history, and its contemporary relevance, through an interactive, interpretive facility within Independence National Historic Park and a program of national outreach, so that “We the People” may better secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.

Historic Philadelphia - A Walking and Riding Tour

King Charles II granted William Penn, an English Quaker, a parcel of land in the New World in 1682 as payment for a debt the crown owed Penn’s father. Philadelphia grew rapidly and became the second largest English-speaking city in the world prior to the American Revolution.

Philadelphia contains the “…. the most historic square mile in the country”. Our costumed guide will lead the tour along the same streets that Franklin, Adams, and Ross walked. You will see the Liberty Bell, the hallowed symbol of our nation’s freedom; Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed; Congress Hall, the home of the U.S. House and Senate when Philadelphia was the nation’s capital; and Franklin Court, Ben’s home and print shop; Christ Church, founded in 1695 where Washington and Franklin worshipped; Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continually occupied residential street in the country

Spend time viewing the water gardens, rose displays, bonsai displays, a desert house, and much more at this duPont estate. This guided tour will cover the history of Longwood Gardens and how it was created.



 

Philadelphia Museum Treasures

Explore the treasures of the Philadelphia Museum of Art with a tour of its wonderful collections. America’s third largest art museum contains over 300,000 paintings, drawings, sculptures, and prints along with decorative arts and period rooms.
Across the street to the Museum of Art and hidden behind an exquisitely preserved Art Deco façade is the newly renovated Perelman Building. This recent expansion to the Philadelphia Museum of Art has opened new gallery spaces that have allowed the museum to display some collections for the first time.

The tour will also include a visit to the Rodin Museum, designed after Rodin’s home in Paris, the Chateau d’Issy. This jewel of a museum contains the largest collection of Rodin sculptures to be found outside of Paris.
