Registration and Housing
Register for the 93rd Annual Meeting and reserve housing before March 29, 2013 to receive discounted registration fees and to secure your hotel. Hotel inventory can not be guaranteed after this date.
The AATS recognizes that you have a number of options when securing hotel accommodations for the 2013 Annual Meeting. The city of Minneapolis and the hotel community have made a major commitment to the AATS for the competitive rates in quality hotels. If you require a room in Minneapolis, we would appreciate it if you would review the list below and reserve your room at one of these official hotels. To begin the registration and housing process, please see the information below. You must be registered to secure a hotel room.
NEW for 2013!
Pre-registered Allied Health Registration Package
The Allied Health Bundle Package includes the Allied Health Symposium on Saturday, May 4, 2013 and (1) Symposium on Sunday, May 5, 2013 in addition to the Annual Meeting (Monday May 6, 2013 through Wednesday, May 8, 2013) for $275. On or after March 30, 2013 the price is $375.
Pre-registered Non-Member Physicians Discount (SAVE 20%)
Non-Members Physicians who pre-register for the Annual Meeting, (1) Saturday Skills Course and (1) Sunday Symposium will receive a 20% discount off their non-member registration fee and two courses. Any additional items will be full price.
Onsite fees will apply on or after March 30, 2013.
ATTENTION Resident/Fellows and Medical Students:
Education is a key element of the AATS; therefore the registration fee for the Annual Meeting (Monday, May 6- Wednesday, May 8, 2013) for residents and fellows is complimentary to help strengthen our mission. (Complimentary Annual Meeting registration is available until March 29, 2013, on or after March 30, 2013 the price is then $75)
We also invite all Resident/Fellows and Medical Students to participate in the Cardiothoracic Residents' Luncheon which will take place on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Registration is complimentary, but pre-registration is required.
Pre Registered Resident/Fellows and Medical Students are also entitled to (1) Saturday course and (1) Sunday Symposium. Additional Courses and Symposia may be purchased for $75 each before March 29, 2013, or $100 each on or after March 30, 2013.
Attendees may register for the meeting three ways although online registration is strongly encouraged. Registrations will not be processed unless payment is received.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Advance Registration Pricing Deadline: March 29, 2013
After this date, all registration fees will increase. A credit card valid through June 2013 is required to confirm meeting registration and hotel accommodations. Forms received without a valid credit card and expiration date will not be processed. Housing may be reserved by providing a valid credit card number even if you are paying for the Annual Meeting registration by check.
Registration Cancellation/Refund Policy
Written requests for cancellations and refunds for registration fees must be received by April 10, 2013. Refunds will be subject to a administrative fee and will be processed after the meeting. Refunds are not available after April 10, 2013. Requests can be faxed to (301)-694-5124 or aats@experient-inc.com.

Additional Shuttle Information: Please note for our guests staying at the Radisson Plaza Hotel Minneapolis and the Crowne Plaza Northstar free bus rides are available on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis and to and from the Minneapolis Convention Center (MCC). This gives you an easy way to go from one end of town to the other – for free! The free service on selected routes between Grant Street and Washington Avenue is offered on buses marked Free-ride buses and leave every 10 minutes on weekdays and everyon 15-30 minutes on weekends. Buses on Nicollet stop every other block between 5th and 13th Streets. You can also walk to the Convention Center (about a 10 minute walk) using the skyway system that runs throughout the downtown area and not worry about the weather.
Cancellation Policy: Reservations made via the web, fax, or mail will require a credit card (American Express, VISA or MasterCard) for guarantee purposes only. The credit card will guarantee your room for late arrival for the day of scheduled arrival only. Please note that the hotel may charge your card upon receipt of the rooming list on or after March 29, 2013. Any deposit the hotel charges to your card will be applied as a credit to your room folio. The hotel will also charge your card if you fail to cancel within the hotel’s cancellation policy or if you do not arrive (Please check with hotel directly regarding their cancellation policy). Please be aware that early departure fees may also apply should the hotel not be notified of these changes in advance of their policy dates. It is the guest's responsibility to notify the hotels after April 24, 2013 of any changes to an existing reservation.

Please note the following cancelation policy applies to the all hotels in addition to what is noted above–Hilton Minneapolis, Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, The Millennium: Cancellations must be received 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival to avoid a charge of one night’s room and tax applied to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation. Guests should note the cancellation number when calling the hotel to cancel directly to ensure the cancellation is properly processed.
Acknowledgements: Meeting registration and housing accommodation acknowledgments will be sent within three to five business days of receipt of form. If an acknowledgment is not received within two weeks, contact AATS/Experient Customer Service at the number listed.
