Cleveland Clinic General Lung Transplant Fellowship A one-year lung transplant fellowship is available for a board-eligible or certified cardiothoracic surgeon. The fellowship provides in-depth training in preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care and management of patients undergoing lung transplantation. The candidate will receive training in surgical technique as well as interventional bronchoscopy, organ procurement, immunosuppressive management as well as transplant research. The Cleveland Clinic's lung transplant program performs over 60 transplants a year (64 in 2006, 65 in 2005 and 64 in 2004).
