Advanced General Thoracic Surgery Fellowship
Mayo Clinic offers advanced one-year and two-year fellowships in general thoracic surgery for individuals who have recently completed either the American Board of Thoracic Surgery requirements or their equivalence in thoracic surgery training abroad. An extensive operative experience (both open and minimally invasive), as well as postoperative management of general thoracic surgical conditions is provided. A robust educational program, which may be of benefit with Board preparation, occurs on a weekly basis. There is also an opportunity for clinical research. Positions are available commencing July 2008 and after. For successful application, international medical graduates must hold a valid ECFMG certificate.
