Advanced Cardiovascular Surgery Fellowship
Mayo Clinic offers advanced one-year and two-year fellowships in cardiovascular surgery for individuals who have recently completed either the American Board of Thoracic Surgery requirements or their equivalence in cardiothoracic surgery training abroad. Operative and postoperative management of complex adult and pediatric cardiac surgical conditions is provided. There is also an active heart and lung transplantation program. Opportunities for clinical research are also available. Positions are available commencing July 2008 and after. For successful application, international medical graduates must hold a valid ECFMG certificate.
