2009 Application Now Available
The Summer Intern Scholarship Program was established in 2007 to introduce the field of cardiothoracic surgery to first and second year medical students from North American medical schools. In the two years since its inception, the Summer Intern Scholarship has offered 100 medical students the opportunity to broaden their educational experience by providing scholarships to spend eight weeks during the summer working in an AATS member's cardiothoracic surgery department.
Applications are now available with a deadline of January 15, 2009.
