A U.S. visa allows a non-U.S. citizen to travel to a United States port-of-entry and request permission of the Department of Homeland Security immigration inspector to enter the U.S. A visa does not guarantee entry into the United States. The timeframe for visa processing varies greatly, so attendees are encouraged to plan early to ensure visas are received in time for travel to the AATS Meeting.
