Seminars in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery is devoted to keeping the practicing surgeon current on topics and issues that are routinely faced in clinical practice. Each issue of this quarterly journal covers two topics, one on adult cardiac surgery and one on general thoracic surgery, each of which has a recognized expert serving as a Guest Editor. Operative Techniques in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery: A Comparative Atlas provides technique-based articles in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery by renowned surgeons in the field, presented in atlas format. An issue contains two articles each in adult, congenital, and general thoracic surgery. Each pair of articles explores a single topic in a point/counterpoint approach. Numerous original line drawings, color figures, and imaging studies are included in each issue to illustrate the different operative approaches.

The Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Annual is a companion to Seminars in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. Together with the Seminars, the Annual provides complete coverage of the specialty by focusing on important developments in pediatric cardiac surgery. Each annual volume has an expert Guest Editor who invites prominent surgeons to review the areas of greatest change in pediatric cardiac surgery during the previous year.
