Seminars in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery is devoted to keeping the practicing surgeon current on topics and issues that are routinely faced in clinical practice. Each issue of this quarterly journal covers two topics, one on adult cardiac surgery and one on general thoracic surgery, each of which has a recognized expert serving as a Guest Editor. Each subject is explored in six contemporary review articles that present state-of-the-art descriptions and evaluations of recent developments in diagnosis and treatment, surgical technique, and scientific/technologic advances.
